Welcome back! In this lesson I'll show you the treble crochet stitch. If you missed the previous lessons in this series, please check them out first!

This time we'll start with a chain of 16. Treble crochet has a turning chain of 4, so we'll be skipping the first 4 chains.
Yarn over twice.
Insert your hook into the 5th chain from your hook.
Yarn over and pull through the chain. You should have 4 loops on your hook.
Yarn over and pull through two loops. Now you'll have 3 loops on your hook.
Yarn over and pull through two loops again. Now you'll have 2 loops on your hook.
Yarn over and pull through the remaining two loops.
That's a lot of yarning over! Go ahead and repeat this stitch in each chain across. Counting your turning chain, you should have 13 stitches.
To start the next row, chain 4. Turn your work so the backside is facing you.
Skip the first stitch, and make your next treble crochet in the second stitch from the hook.
Go ahead and finish your row. Make the last stitch into the top of the chain 4 from row one.

Treble crochet is the last and the tallest of the basic stitches we'll be covering in this Introduction series. There are taller stitches than the treble crochet, but they are not used as commonly. Let's get started!
This time we'll start with a chain of 16. Treble crochet has a turning chain of 4, so we'll be skipping the first 4 chains.
