Feature Friday: 6/12/15

Hey everyone! I'm trying this new segment called Feature Friday, where I'll feature patterns, recipes, DIYs, or other posts from around the web. This week is all about crochet patterns, and they're all FREE!

Here we go!

1. Baby Star Afghan from The Crochet Crowd
This is a very easy blanket pattern that grows quickly! It can be kept small for a baby's blanket, or make it large for a throw. Mikey's video tutorial is very easy to follow and he is a great teacher. I highly recommend checking out the Crochet Crowd blog.

I made one for my little girl!

2. Mystery Afghan Crochet-Along from The Crochet Crowd & Yarnspirations
Have you ever done a crochet along? It's a fun way to learn new crochet techniques and connect with other crafters. The Mystery Afghan CAL 2015 has finished, but the pattern is still available! Check it out on the Crochet Crowd blog.

3. Mountains Cowl from Gleeful Things
I LOVE this cowl from Gleeful Things. It's simple, easy to work up, and it's perfect for showing off a beautiful yarn. Plus, it's so versatile! There are three size options and two ways to wear it.

Wear it as a hooded cowl, or an infinity scarf!

4. Puppy Hat from Repeat Crafter Me
Who doesn't love puppies? This hat from Repeat Crafter me is just adorable. I recommend checking out her blog because she has TONS of cute free patterns.

Too cute!

5. Brain Waves Beanie from Playin' Hooky Designs
This beanie uses several different stitches to create a really cool wave effect. It's hard to believe such a detailed pattern is free, but it is!

I love that wavy look!

I hope you enjoyed these patterns! Which one is your favorite? Is there a post, pattern, recipe or blogger you'd like to see featured next week? Comment about them and they just might be featured next time!

Happy Friday, everyone!
